How do I change the default email address to my personal email address?

LYNX uses its own email address when creating your account (newaccounts@lynx.be). By doing so, we make sure a valid email address is linked to your account. It is important to change this email address. In this way, you will receive information concerning your portfolio (e.g. choice dividend, statements or margin changes) at your personal email address. You can submit an email change in your Account Management. Below, you will find a step-by-step instruction.

Please note! When changing the default email address to your personal email address it is necessary to inform us of this change. We are then able to confirm the email change and complete this process. To do this, open a chat at the bottom right of this page or send an email to info@lynx.be. Be sure to include your account number and your new e-mail address.

Step 1: Log in Account Management

1. Click here to log in to your Account Management.

Step 2: Go to User Settings

2. Press the user icon 1 on the right top of the Account Management, and then choose User Settings 2.

Step 3: Change your email address

3. On the right you will find the Communication section. Click on Configure 3next to Email Address.

4. Below, enter your new personal email address twice 5. Then click on Continue.

5. Enter your Username and Password from your trading account 6. Then click on Continue. You may still have to enter the codes from your security code card, or see a challenge code which you have to enter in your Trading app (LYNX Key). In the latter case, open your Trading app and click on Services > Authenticate in order to enter the challenge code and generate a response string.

6. A Confirmation number has been sent to your personal email address. Enter this number 7 and click on Continue.

Step 4: Please note! Inform our service desk of your email change

It is necessary to inform us of your email change. We are then able to confirm the email change and complete this process. To do this, open a chat at the bottom right of this page or send an email to info@lynx.be. Be sure to include your account number and your new e-mail address.
